This website provides links to ongoing research and publications into identifying and interpreting factors associated with low female participation rates in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) education pathways and professional level careers.  The recently completed 2004 - 2006 study was funded through the Australian Research Council's (ARC) Linkage Grants Scheme and involved a research partnership between Education Queensland (EQ), industry partner Technology One and academic researchers at James Cook University: Professor Neil Anderson, Professor Lankshear, Associate Professor Mary Klein and Senior Researchers Carolyn Timms and Lyn Courtney.

The current, 2008-2010 ARC Linkage Grant is in partnership with Technology One and ThoughtWare:
